Volship Awards was initiated to acknowledge the contributions made by the VFI volunteers during the course of Volship and encourage them to continue volunteering. It also marks the conclusion of the end of the respective edition of Volship and marks the start of a new journey for the Interim Chapter Leads, who were the leader volunteers selected and trained during the Volship journey, and their volunteers. While some ICL’s are designated the roles of Chapter Leads and take up the responsibility of setting up VFI Chapters in their cities, other ICL’s are invited to join the Core Team of Volunteer for India and support the organization in it’s journey forward.

Volship Awards is also very relevant to VFI’s goal of fostering collaborations as personnel from highly revered non profit organizations across India join us to announce the awards.
