One thing that stands out for me, while volunteering with Volunteer for India is is that everyday we have learned something from our mistakes which has help us to grow. Another great thing of being a part of VFI is their system of need assessment research which has helped us gain a proper understanding of the society and people's opinion regarding different topics. This was one of the memorable experiences of life.

Being a part of VFI has been an amazing experience. It boosts people above the age of 18 to not only think but also to act upon social issues. It has given me vast experience to develop my leadership qualities. We organized a very interesting drawing competition on Earth Day. The children I met there were so full of enthusiasm and love for life, just meeting them filled me with joy and happiness; I loved the time I spent with them. 

Volunteer for India gave me a platform to come forward and help people. It helped me gain perspective about what a less privileged society looks like and what are the ground realities of the people and there thinking on the ground level. VFI gave me an opportunity to become event lead for Earth Day event. Through the event, I was able to connect with likeminded individuals and helped people in need, while also raising awareness about climate change and saving Earth.

Volunteer for India ൽ കുടെ സൊസൈറ്റിയിൽ നല്ല ചെറിയ മാറ്റം വരുത്താൻ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് കഴിഞ്ഞു. ഞങ്ങൾ ഇനിയും നല്ല രീതിയിൽ ആക്ടിവിറ്റി ചെയും കൊച്ചിയിൽ നല്ല മാറ്റങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടുവരും.

Volship provided me an opportunity to volunteer for a social cause and have an impact on the society. It was a fulfilling experience for me as this was the first time I volunteered. All the various activities that we conducted and were a part of, instilled in me the skills and values of teamwork, empathy, creativity and hard work. Being able to bring a smile on someone’s face directly or indirectly gave me a sense of satisfaction and a purpose of life.
