The VOLSHIP Volunteer Leadership Fellowship is a tailored 12-week journey that nurtures young individuals to design, ideate, and drive volunteer-based Social Solutions that create lasting and sustainable impacts.

This YuWaah (Generation Unlimited) at UNICEF certified Fellowship, ooffers a unique opportunity for participants to complete Volship and start your OWN NGO, establish a Bhumi Club, pursue Leadership in Social Sector or expand your career in leadership to the most extensive Social Impact the country has ever experienced.

Joining Volship means you’re already one step closer to making a change. Design and implement an impactful project plan to tackle pressing social issues in your city, that you are passionate about. Dive into 12 action-packed weeks where you will mobilise 75 volunteers shaping real community impact with our continuous support and resources.

You are now part of an experience where you can network, have jamming sessions, attend masterclasses by experts, and polish your leadership skills.

  • Anyone between the ages of 18-29
  • Available between May 4 - Jul 28, 2024
  • Can spend 8 hours/ week for the Fellowship
  • Can achieve a goal of 75 volunteer and 750 volunteering hours
  • Fluent in English and the regional language of your city of application
  • Physically available in the applied city for the entire Volship period
  • People who are looking for leadership Development

What happens after the 12-week Volship fellowship is completed?

After completing the 12-week Fellowship, participants are encouraged to continue their journey through Bhumi Clubs. This will give you an opportunity to implement a longer impactful project, while leaving behind the legacy of having founded a Bhumi Club in your city.

Can I apply for the Volship Fellowship if I reside outside India?

No, the Volship Fellowship is currently limited to applicants residing within India. This limitation is due to the potential need for in-person volunteering and participation in certain program activities. We appreciate your interest, but we are unable to accept international applicants at this time.

Are there any age restrictions for applying to the fellowship?
